It's that time again for us all to get together!! Please join us for the 2nd Annual Indiana BHA Chapter Rendezvous at the Glendale Fish and Wildlife Campground Friday September 9 through Sunday September 11th. Last year kicked off this event and words can describe how impactful it was to those that attended. We had great laughs, excellent presentations, shared food, dove hunting, squirrel hunting, and very thoughtful and educational round table discussions!
DOOR PRIZE: Everyone over the age of 18 that purchases a ticket to attend, will be entered to win an awesome door prize - a Savage Mark I GY .22
This year, it will be even more exciting as we expect a huge turnout of our Indiana BHA members! The chapter board is planning some great presentations and once again the conversation in the roundtables will give everyone a chance to learn about various topics that impact conservation, wildlife, and Indiana outdoors. September is also Public Land Packout month, so we will once again be assisting the Glendale staff with cleaning up some of the public access areas around that 8,000 acre facility. Last year we were able to fill up over 20 bags of trash, so hopefully we can double that for the DNR at this event!
This year we will have presentations from the Indiana Deer Biologist Joe Caudell will be at the event on Saturday to present to the everyone! We will also have the pleasure of hosting Cindy Stites, whom is the new R3 Coordinator for the Indiana DNR and one of our past BOD members of the Indiana Chapter. These two will give us some great insight on what is happening in Indiana and how the Indiana Chapter can assist their efforts!
Wild Game Cookoff is something new this year that the chapter wants to host! Teams will be able to compete with their favorite wild game recipe and have a chance to win some cool prizes. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event along with your attendance ticket, OR you can sign up at the Rendezvous. Please contact Nick Kaufman for any questions! For the Rules, scroll down lower in the event info. There will be some great prizes to the winner!
Archery season will be just right around the corner at Rendezvous and some folks will be venturing west directly after. So some archery fun will be a great way to prepare for the upcoming season. Targets will be provided and bring along some extra cash for a chance to win some cool stuff!
Talk about some great stuff to give away! This year the chapter has stepped up and will have some big items that could be yours! A big shout out go our National BHA Sponsors as we have products from; FishPond, GoHunt, Yeti, and Worksharp Tools. There are nearly $1200K worth of prizes thanks to these sponsors! We also want to give a shout out to our state partners at Sportsmans Warehouse in Greenwood and West Boggs Park.
Camping is included in the ticket price and we want to thank West Boggs Park for assisting us with these accommodations. The Indiana Chapter Board will be providing a hot meal on Saturday evening, so you can take one less meal out of planning.
We look forward to seeing everyone again for our 2nd Annual Indiana BHA Rendezvous! It's going to be a great time and we will see you there!
