Idaho BHA launches Instagram contest to promote stewardship of public lands

To celebrate our public lands heritage and promote stewardship of public lands, Idaho BHA is running an Instagram contest for the full month of September!

PRIZES & ENTRY INFORMATION

 

Grand Prize: Big Agnes Fly Creek UV Ultralight 1 & BHA Camo Foam Trucker hat.  The tent is a top-of-the line ultralight one-person backpacking tent from Big Agnes.  Winner will be randomly selected from all submissions.

 

2nd Prize:  Montana Fly Company fly box filled with flies & BHA landscape T-shirt.  Winner will be randomly selected from all submissions. 

 

Best Video Prize:  Idaho BHA shirt & hat of your choice.  Idaho BHA judges will award a prize for the best video that exemplifies stewardship on public lands.  Video must be 1 minute or less in length.

 

 

Rules for Entry:  You may submit as many entries as many times as you wish.  Only entries between September 1-30, 2018 are valid.  Qualifying entries must meet ALL four of the criteria below.  Winners will be notified by Oct 15, 2018.

  1. Post a photo or a video that shows you (or your friends) performing good stewardship of our public lands.  Examples: cleaning up trash, volunteering, removing noxious weeds, abiding by closures, reporting violations, practicing fire prevention, etc.
  2. Tag @idahobha
  3. Tag @backcountryhunters
  4. Tag at least one friend who is not currently following @idahobha.  You get one entry for every friend you tag.
