Join Minnesota BHA in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service in helping clear and maintain the Hunter Walking Trails in the Superior National Forest.
We will be cutting, bucking and removing fallen and hazardous trees from the trails, as well as brushing and other trail maintenance. These trails have been impacted by wind events and tree mortality in the last few years. These trails are walk-in only and an important access for hunters and hunter with dogs to enjoy our public lands.
We will meet at The Hive Coffee and Bakeshop in Aurora at 9:00AM and carpool to the Jenkins Creek Trailhead worksite and begin work around 10:00 AM. Work will conclude around 2:00PM. After the event, we can meet at one of the local establishments for food and drinks to recap the day.
