Help BHA grow in New York and New England
Backcountry Hunters & Anglers stands up for our public lands and waters. Right now, you can help us become even stronger by helping fund a new full-time coordinator.
BHA North America and the New York and New England chapters are committed to adding a full-time staff member to accelerate the incredible work of our volunteer leaders and members and ensure the organization’s continuing growth and effectiveness as an advocate for wild places, hunters and anglers.
In states and provinces where we have staff on the ground, we are much better at taking advantage of opportunities and pushing back on threats. In order to increase our numbers – and make BHA members even more influential – we need to provide strong and dedicated staff support.
We want to build on the success already realized in New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut by hiring a new chapter coordinator who will work directly with BHA leaders and members in these states.
BHA has grown exponentially in New York and New England over the past two years in both size, effectiveness and reputation. Quite simply, this is because we work so effectively to sustain the places we care about most and maintain the irreplaceable opportunities to access and enjoy our public lands.
BHA North America and the New York and New England chapters have each committed funds to hiring the first ever New York / New England Coordinator.
