Join Montana BHA as we partner with Pheasants Forever and Montana FWP to improve our local WMA! Saturday, July 29th, we'll meet at Yellowstone WMA to clear dead trees, pull bad fencing, remove encroaching vegetation, and improve the parking area. Lunch and tools will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring water, sturdy clothing and footwear and gloves.
Directions to Yellowstone WMA: Travel 28 miles east of Billings on I-94, take the Pompeys Pillar exit 23. Turn northwest onto Highway 312 and follow it westward past Pompeys Pillar and turn north onto Bundy Road, cross the Yellowstone River and travel up the hill for less than a mile. Turn west onto Bozeman Trail and follow it for a little more than a mile to the entrance station (gate).
