Have you been interested in hunting but haven't had the chance to learn? Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is offering an all-inclusive program that will introduce you to hunting while educating you on firearm safety, access to public lands, ethical hunting, the history of conservation and the hunter's role and how to care for and butcher game animals. This event will provide participants with a hands on opportunity to butcher a big game animal, to handle and shoot firearms, and to learn about hunting strategies and tactics.
After signing up, please be on the lookout for a pre-survey to introduce you to the course. Please arrive by 4pm on Tuesday, November 9th at the Timber to Table Property (address below). See you soon!
Price:
Our goal is to make all CO Camp programs inclusive and accessible. The ticket price you pay will goes directly towards the expense of running Camp, and our Colorado chapter will be subsidizing over 50% of the cost to run this camp.
Equipment:
Packing lists will be sent to the selected participants. In short, you will need to bring clothes (including hunting appropriate clothing), toiletries, and your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, camp chair).
