Fort Knox AFI is supporting the Grand Opening of Castle Lake!
Why You Should Want to Attend:
The Armed Forces Initiative is the BHA program focused on creating conservationists within the military community. Come out and join Fort Knox AFI in the Grand Opening of Castle Lake on Fort Knox. Castle Lake is a man-made lake built and stocked by Fort Knox to provide easy access to a recreation area for Soldiers and families on post.
Fort Knox AFI members will be present to provide mentorship, education, and assistance to novice anglers, and help the Fort Knox staff with setup and will conduct a stewardship cleanup post event. Come and learn how to fish and how you can get involved with AFI.
*** Due to inclement weather, the grand opening ceremony has been cancelled. Castle Lake will still open Saturday to all Soldiers and families on Fort Knox.***

Who can attend:
- This event is open to all members of the military community
(Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veterans, and Gold Star families)
- and anyone looking to support veterans and conservation!
- You do not need to be a BHA member to attend
(but we sure would appreciate it if you were)
