NCWRC, Opportunity Outdoors and the Fort Bragg Backcountry Hunters & Anglers are once again joining together to offer a free turkey hunting workshop at the Fort Bragg Clay Target Center in Spring Lake followed by mentored scouting the following day (Sunday) on public lands (Fort Bragg.

On Sunday, 27 March, Fort Bragg BHA will be conducting mentored Turkey scouting on Fort Bragg. To register for this event you must submit a separate RSVP. That information immediately follows the GSO registration information.
To qualify for this free workshop you must have:

NEVER ACTIVELY Hunted (preferred audience).

MINIMAL Hunting Experience (i.e., you have NOT ACTIVELY hunted for MORE than THREE years).

LACKING Social Support (i.e., you have no readily available hunting family members or friends).

GSO Attendance Prerequisites:
The following must be completed after registration and in advance of attendance. Provide proof of prerequisite completion prior to the workshop. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Age Restrictions: Although this program is designed specifically for adults, we encourage “family learning” (parents and youth) provided youth are ready for a program designed for adults and parent and / or guardian attend and participate. See this document for more information.
NOTE: All attendees, youth or otherwise, must complete prerequisites as outlined above, however, youth under 16 are license exempt but must acquire a “License-Exempt Big Game Harvest Report Card which can be acquired by calling NCWRC Customer Service @ 1-888-248-6834 or by visiting a Wildlife service Agent at Wildlife Service Agents Search (ncalvin.org)
