Due to concerns around COVID-19, the 3/13 Forged by the Wild event and 3/14 Public Lands Symposium have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for later this spring or summer. While we are incredibly disappointed, the safety of our members and partners is our highest priority. Join us at Patagonia for an evening of public lands comradery and stories of hunting, fishing, skiing and mountaineering adventures in the Wasatch and beyond - all thanks to our 640 million acres of shared public land! Guests can enjoy free Mamachari Kombucha while supplies last. Thieps Eats food truck will also be onsite and available for purchase. This event is free and open to non-BHA members and kids although there is a VIP ticket package available for purchase.
Speakers will include sportsman and President and CEO of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Land Tawney, sustainability advocate Katie Boué, ski mountaineer Rob Lea, professional adventure skier Brody Leven, and hunter and BHA Southwest Chapter Coordinator Katie DeLorenzo.
Ticketed VIP event portion is from 6 – 7 pm, with doors open to the public for free event portion at 7 pm.
VIP TICKET PACKAGE: Only 25 available! The $40 package includes a custom YETI tumbler, a 1 year individual BHA membership, 2 tickets for opportunity draw, appetizers and 1 hour meet and greet with speakers prior to event. **VIP packages are available for purchase online via the ticket portal below or at the door the night of, while supplies last. Remember, the VIP meet and greet begins at 6 pm and the free portion of the event starts at 7 pm.
Whether you pursue chuckar in the West Desert, hike and fish the Uintas, ski the Wasatch front, or mountain bike the Shoreline, this event is a family friendly way to learn more about our rich heritage of hunting, fishing, adventuring and the commonalities shared by all outdoor enthusiasts.
