Florida AFI Team has partnered with Fish with a Hero for a week of fishing in the Florida keys both off shore and in the flats September 13th -17th. Lodging and the Islander resort, food, and gear is all provided. Participants must have a FL fishing license, appropriate clothing, water bottle, and transportation to Islamorada Florida.
We are looking for 5 participants who are rated as 50% disabled by the VA or greater.
This is a great opportunity to learn to fish not only in the Keys, but on public saltwater all over Florida and the southern coast. Your mentors will be talking, tactics, biology, ecology, local policy and fishing regulations, as well as providing culinary guidance for your catch at the end of the day.
*Species targeted will be determined by weather and access the morning of the event.*
