FLOOD: Achieved!
Thanks to you, BHA’s Flood the Lines Day was a record-breaking success. On June 25, 2025, hunters, anglers, and public landowners across the country answered the call—and in just 24 hours, we generated 33,289 calls and messages to the U.S. Senate urging them to oppose public land sell-off proposals. It’s one of the largest single-day advocacy surges in BHA’s history and a powerful demonstration of what this community can do when we rise together.
This outpouring of action helped push back—and it showed Washington, D.C. that our public lands are not bargaining chips. With nearly 133,000 total actions taken since launching our United We Stand for Public Lands campaign in May, it’s clear: we’re just getting started.

6/24/25 UPDATE: Last night, the Senate Parliamentarian's ruling blocked Sen. Mike Lee’s land sale plan—but only for a moment.
BHA's sources have confirmed: Sen. Lee is currently rewriting his proposal to try again.
That means our public lands are still VERY MUCH on the chopping block.
We don’t yet know how many acres will be at risk this time. But we do know this: We cannot afford to back down; we've got to double-down.
BACKGROUND: The Senate wants to sell off OUR public lands—lands that belong to the American people. This isn’t a housing solution. It’s a land grab. And on June 25, we’re standing united to stop it.
As part of our United We Stand for Public Lands campaign, BHA is calling on 25,000 public land owners to take action in a single day.
We’ve already generated more than 96,000 messages and calls since this campaign launched—and we’ve seen as many as 14,000 actions taken in one day. But with your help, we can flood Senate offices with a tidal wave of messages they can’t ignore: Our public lands are not for sale.
