On Saturday, August 22nd at 8:00 AM BHA will conduct an NRA Basic Rifle class to facilitate the Field Day requirement needed to complete the Florida Hunter Safety Course. Successful completion of the course will also satisfy the basic course prerequisite needed to become an NRA Rifle Instructor.
The classroom portion of the course will be in an air conditioned meeting space, and the live fire portion will be conducted under cover on an outdoor shooting range.
Preregistration is required to attend the class and attendees must be lawfully allowed to possess and operate firearms. The class is limited to 10 participants and is free to BHA Members. Non-members may attend the class by purchasing a $35 annual BHA membership. Registration will be closed after 10 members RSVP.
Attendees should arrive no later than 7:45 AM and gather at the picnic tables on the right side of the parking lot.
NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!
