Join DNR and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) in celebrating National Public Lands Day by improving fishing access at J.E. Roush Lake Fish & Wildlife Area (FWA) on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Volunteers will be removing and replacing the deck planks on the fishing pier for the pond located behind the J.E. Roush Lake FWA office. Materials for this project are generously supplied by BHA.
Saturday, Sept. 26 is also a free fishing day, so when the pier is completed, plan to stay and fish.
Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 27.
