event_description:   Please welcome Roman Dial, author, ecologist and one of the most accomplished backcountry travelers in modern Alaskan history for a presentation on the changes he has seen in the Brooks range and the effects of those changes on wild game and fish. Roman, a professor at Alaska Pacific University for over 30 years, has recently published his research on effects of a changing climate on ecosystems in Alaskas Brooks Range in Science, Nature, and other journals. He is also the author of two books, Packrafting: An Introduction and How-to Guide and The Adventurer’s Son.  Well have raffle tickets for the Weatherby Camilla being draw on March 28th. This will be the last event where tickets will be sold (capped at 200 tickets). RSVP and get entered to win a door prize!
