Please welcome Roman Dial, author, ecologist and one of the most accomplished backcountry travelers in modern Alaskan history for a presentation on the changes he has seen in the Brooks range and the effects of those changes on wild game and fish. Roman, a professor at Alaska Pacific University for over 30 years, has recently published his research on effects of a changing climate on ecosystems in Alaska's Brooks Range in Science, Nature, and other journals. Please join him as he discusses what he's learned and what we should expect as hunters and anglers.
Roman Dial, a professor at Alaska Pacific University for over 30 years, has recently published his research on climate change effects on ecosystems in Alaska's Brooks Range in Science, Nature, and other journals. He is also the author of two books, Packrafting: An Introduction and How-to Guide and The Adventurer’s Son.
