Join the Indiana Chapter for the first state Rendezvous!! This special event will be located at the Glendale FWA near Montgomery, Indiana September 10-12. Sponsored by the Daviess Martin Joint County Parks Department, this event will allow Indiana BHA members their first opportunity to spend the weekend with like minded folks looking to provide and enhance sounds conservation practices and ideals around the state of Indiana. Activities at the event will include Campfire Stories, spouse/youth dove or squirrel hunt, education session with Glendale FWA property manager and district fishery biologist, facility clean-up blitz, Eastfork Hatchery Volunteer opportunities, chapter board meeting/panel discussion, dessert cooking competition, kids activities, roundtable discussions, dog handling tips/exercises, canoeing/kayaking, and some of the best conversation you will find around Indiana! We will have some great prizes to give away from Worksharp Tools, Vortex, MTN Ops, Phelps Game Calls, Sawyer Clothing Treatment, Big Tine, Hunt to Eat, Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls, OnX, PS Seasonings, Rep Your Waters, BHA Merchandise, Prime Archery/G5 Outdoors, Peak Refuel, and more! Everyone receives a prize ticket with registration.
The BHA Chapter will provide Saturday night dinner of burgers, brats, and other sides. If you’re willing, bring along copies of your favorite wild game recipes to share with others.
What to bring: only four electric campsites are available for those with special needs and all other sites will be primitive. Primitive sites will be first come first serve. Bring food for Friday evening, Saturday breakfast and lunch, along with Sunday breakfast and lunch. Tents, canopies, bag chairs, fishing equipment, Kayaks, hunting equipment, pets (leave the goats at home), work gloves, food, drinks, bicycles, and all the normal stuff in your camping totes.
Firewood can be purchased on site and ONLY certified inspected firewood or kiln dried wood with NO Nails can be brought.
