Renowned gear and apparel company partners with public lands group
on expanded ‘Campfire Stories’ series, limited edition BHA logo apparel

MISSOULA, Mont. – Filson and Backcountry Hunters & Anglers will be accelerating their successful partnership in 2019, today announcing the continuation of the popular Campfire Stories, a public lands-focused storytelling event series launched in 2018, and the debut this spring of a limited edition collection of BHA branded apparel.

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Campfire Stories Presented by C.C. Filson brings outdoor industry thought leaders to the stage to capture the spirit of outdoor adventures on our public lands. The events feature tales that range from humorous to heartfelt, told by a slate of hunters, anglers and seasoned storytellers. The 2019 Campfire Stories events will take place across the United States, kicking off at the Filson New York Flagship Store on Feb. 28, 2019.

Also in 2019, Filson will be debuting a collection of shirts and hats with BHA branding, available for sale at the BHA North American Rendezvous in Boise, Idaho, this May. From Filson’s collection, 100 percent of the net profits will be donated to BHA.

For BHA President and CEO Land Tawney, the BHA-Filson partnership exemplifies the growing force that is public lands sportsmen and women.

“We have all solved the world’s problems around the campfire late at night, and BHA was formed around a campfire,” said Tawney. “The clear skies, stars, crackle of the flame and smell of smoke run deep in our consciousness and are a way to connect to the past and spur us on into the future. Filson is not only a company that understands the importance of the campfire; they have a long history of protecting our wild public lands and waters. I’m excited to throw another log on the fire with such a great brand.”

“Filson’s heritage is rooted in the outdoors, and we value partnerships with organizations like BHA that advocate for the protection and access to our public lands,” said Mary Rondepierre, Filson retail marketing manager. “We look forward to continuing to host a forum that brings likeminded outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen together to share their stories in an environment filled with camaraderie and fun.”

BHA’s Campfire Stories Presented by C.C. Filson at the BHA North American Rendezvous will take place on May 4, 2019, at the Boise Centre in Boise, Idaho. Buy your tickets today!
