Field Trauma and Triage for Bird Dogs brought to you by the Michigan Chapter of the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers & Jay’s Sporting Goods. Join us and Dr. Jill Vander-Yacht, DVM of Abbott Road Animal Clinic for a live demo of trauma and triage techniques geared towards bird dogs in the field. Spring is here and Fall won’t be too far behind it where many of us will be hitting the ground running with our conditioned bird dogs in pursuit of Michigan’s game birds and waterfowl. Learn signs and symptoms of potential trauma your hunting companion may experience and best tools to carry in the field with you. Our hunting dogs are our family; this event will help you be prepared to take the best care of them in the field!
Follow us on over to the Mountain Town Station Restaurant and Brew Pub at 506 W. Broadway St. Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 or just meet us there at 5:30 if you can't join us earlier!
We will have some great prizes to give away at the event. You'll also be able to sign up for memberships and purchase some awesome BHA apparel!
So whether you take your pup afield or just want to hang out with some cool folks focused on conservation and your public lands, come join us!
