Join the Texas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Stewards of the Wild for a special field to table pint night hosted by Dai Due and Chef/Owner Jesse Griffiths. The Dai Due team will be preparing food with the theme of invasive species like Wild hog, Nilgai, Axis, Auodad.
Entry is free but RSVPs are required as capacity is limited to 60 guests! Food and beverages will be "pay as you go".
Guest Speakers
Jesse Griffiths Chef/Owner of Dai Due and author of Afield: A Chef’s Guide to Preparing and Cooking Wild Game and Fish, will talk about exotics from his perspective as a conservation-minded Chef and his favorite preparations.
Romey Swanson is past President of the Texas Wildlife Society, past Conservation Director for Audubon, and current ED for The Devils River Conservancy. He will speak about exotics on the native landscape.
John Shepherd is the Executive Director of the Texas Foundation for Conservation and will provide a brief Legislative Update.
