Join the Texas Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for our East Texas Squirrel Camp- a weekend of camping, chasing squirrels, and enjoying fellowship with BHA members from around the state.
This event is open to experts and first time squirrel hunters, members and non-members alike (but we’d sure appreciate it if you became a member). The Squirrel Camp will take place May 2 - May 4 in the Sam Houston National Forest WMA. Final details will be provided to attendees prior to the event, so make sure you RSVP and leave us good contact information so we can keep in touch with you.
Weekend Schedule:
Friday, May 2nd – Arrive in afternoon and make camp
Saturday, May 3rd – First hunt day, potluck supper, & camp stories
Sunday, May 4th – Second hunt day, break camp
