Join Kansas BHA leaders, as well as our friends at Walton's, to learn how you can take a deer from the field to your freezer. Learn to field dress big game animals, properly care for meat while in the field, cut up that deer yourself and get it safely into the freezer. This will be a ‘steaks and roasts’ demonstration of deer processing. We’ll also talk about tips and tricks for cooking your deer as we cut up each portion.
Our goal for this workshop is to prepare you to successfully cut up your own deer. Plus, you will look good while processing your deer because Waltons will also provide event participants with our very own Kansas BHA/Waltons t-shirt!
