Join BHA, Greater Arkansas River Nature Association and Chaffee Rec. Adopters to help the US Forest Service on CR 181 in Salida to clear out some old range fencing in mule deer winter range area. This project was started last summer and removed over 2000 feet of barbed wire, and now to take out the rest!!
Take CR 175 (Ute Trail) to the Beasway TH parking lot. At the lot, stay left on CR 181 and follow it for about a half mile.
Bring: Sturdy boots, leather work gloves, wire clippers (if you have them). Long pants and shirts. Bring water bottle, food.
