The Colorado Chapter of BHA is seeking volunteers to assist in the second annual Taste of Backcountry Angling Workshop to be held on August 23 near Georgetown on the I-70 corridor. This day-long clinic is designed for intermediate anglers ages 14 to 18 and a parent or mentor and will offer presentations on safe backcountry travel and camping, tips on catching trout in lakes and streams, and hands-on instruction in spin- and fly fishing. Participants will also have an opportunity to fish high-country lakes during the morning and afternoon bite.
We’ll need members to assist fishermen, present workshops, help with setup and takedown, and possibly cooking. If interested please contact Dan Martel.
