On Colorado's Western Slope the Bureau of Land Management is in the process of updating Resource Management Plans which will determine the future of the landscape. True to BHA's boots-on-the-ground ethic, Habitat Watchman, Craig Grother has been working with fellow recreationists, BLM officials and sportsmen to ensure that non-motorized, backcountry habitat in the Dominguez Escalante National Conservation Area, remains intact and free from development.
