When: July 11, 2020
Project start time-Plan to meet at the trail head at 9:00 AM and be back at trail head by 4:00 PM.
Pot Luck dinner- Please advise if you would stay for a pot luck dinner together after our days work.
Project Objective- To clear 4 miles of trail starting at the Little Sunlight trail head.
Location: located in Sunlight Basin.
Directions to the Little Sunlight trail head- From Cody take highway 120 north to the Chief Joseph Highway 296 past Dead Indian Creek and turn left on gravel road 101. If you cross the Sunlight Bridge you have gone too far. Follow gravel road about 10 miles to the trail head on your right. It is about 2 miles past the Sunlight Ranger Station. Little Sunlight trail head has nice camping areas with fire pits, bathroom and some tables.
Attire for the project-Each person would need to bring gloves, good boots, (about an 8 mile round trip through some really nice country), lunch, water, and rain gear.
Equipment to bring- Bruce Fauskee will have crosscut saws and some small saws. If you have saws or other equipment you want to use please bring it with you.
