John grew up in rural Fayette County where he still resides. A lifelong outdoorsman, John began fishing at age 4 and hunting at age 12. He now hunts, hikes, fishes and camps throughout the Laurel Highlands as well as in nearby West Virginia. While enjoying all outdoor pursuits, he is most passionate about deer hunting and fly-fishing.
A six year enlistment in the Marine Corps allowed for the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in various states and overseas. After the service, he took several months to experience Alaska and has returned many times to fish, camp and explore. John has also hunted, camped and fished throughout much of Colorado and parts of Wyoming.
Since returning to Pennsylvania, John earned a BS in Business and his MBA and now works in Pittsburgh as a supply chain consultant.
