Citrus WMA has uplands dense woodlands and canopy trails. Species found on the forest include slash pine, longleaf pine, pond cypress, bald cypress, oak, maple, southern magnolia, gum and hickory. Springtime forest visitors will be delighted with the colorful abundance of wildflowers. Flower varieties such as goldenrod, thistle and blazing star can be found along forest pathways.
Join BHA at the Mutual Mine Campground located at 4771 Trail 16, Inverness, Florida 34452on Saturday, February 20th at 6:30 AM.
All participants planning to hunt must have a Florida Hunting License and Management Area Permit.
