Help us reach our 10,000 bag goal for Public Lands Pack Out and clean up your local public shooting range! Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation has requested help removing trash from the shooting range in the Chena River State Recreation Area. Trash bags will be provided, if you have a pick-up truck and trailer to help haul out trash it would be greatly appreciated!
The Chena River State Recreation Area provides a lot of great opportunity to get out and enjoy a piece of public land in interior Alaska. Hiking up to Granite Tors, fishing one of the stocked lakes, floating and fishing the Chena River or sighting in your rifle at the range are just some of the options. We'd appreciate any help in keeping it clean!
