Join Washington BHA for our 3rd annual Public Land clean-up at Capitol State Forest in Olympia! We are coordinating this event with the DNR to help take trash out of the Triangle Pit, a public shooting area in need of some TLC. Capitol State Forest is a large tract of public land just south of Olympia where many people go to hunt, hike, and shoot throughout the year.
We would love to see you out there to connect with other WA BHA members and have a good time helping our public lands! Water, snacks, trash bags, and nitrile gloves will be provided, but please bring your own work gloves and any other gear if you would like. Pants and closed toe shoes are recommended. Parking will be available at the gate to the Triangle Pit, and a short walk up to the pit will be necessary.
BHA will providing lunch for all participants, so hang around afterward for some well-earned calories. After lunch, feel free to stick around and enjoy target shooting with fellow BHA members as well.
This is a family friendly event. Feel free to message us with any questions and we'll see you on June 14th!
