Members of the New Mexico Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and other conservation and hunting groups will be at the New Mexico Capitol during the spring legislative session to let lawmakers know we are united, educated, and engaged.
The Camo at the Capitol rally starts at 9 a.m., Feb. 3, on the east side of the Capitol and will continue in the Capitol Rotunda with speeches from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Hunters, anglers and others who care about New Mexico's world-class wildlife resources are encouraged to attend wearing camo to show solidarity and strength in numbers. Speakers will address the importance of hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation to New Mexico's heritage and its future.
Kids and non-members are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
