Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is hosting a range day at the Cahaba WMA Shooting range just outside of Helena Alabama on October 12, 2019 from 9am-2pm! Food and paper targets will be provided by BHA, with lunch being served at noon. At lunch we will have a handful of speakers to talk about hunting Alabama public lands, as well as highlight specific issues facing hunters in Alabama. The event is free to attend, but anyone who wishes to shoot at the range MUST have ether an Alabama hunting license, fishing license, or heritage license.
Range is out of city limits. Its off of Coalmont road after the road turns to dirt. There are signs that can lead people to the range.
