Dove season is here and the duck opener is around the corner. It's time to dust off the shotgun and bust some clays with BHA for our upcoming five stand competition.
Event Format: Bustin' Clays will be a 5 stand clay shoot at Birds Landing. Event tickets will include a 25 target "tune-up" round and then a friendly 25 target competition round where the top three shooters will receive prizes. The event will begin at 1:00pm and will include refreshments, door prizes and a raffle. After the shoot, we will have a wing-shooting, hunting & cooking Q&A session with renowned wild game chef and author, Hank Shaw. Hank will be offering copies of his new book "Hook, Line, and Supper" at a discount for event attendees $20 (retail is $32.95).
Equipment: Ammo will be provided by event attendees (can bring their own or purchase from venue). Lead ammo is allowed but must be size 7 or smaller. Steel ammunition must be size 6 or smaller. Shotgun rentals are available upon request from the pro-shop (recommended to call ahead).
Shooters of all skill levels are welcome. This is a great opportunity to learn more about wing-shooting, hunting, cooking or just to get some reps in before heading afield this Fall.
