If it is raining tomorrow morning please assume the event is cancelled as there will be too much risk of getting vehicles stuck on the roads approaching the campground. Anyone who was planning to attend can give me a call before 8:30 AM tomorrow to get a status update (530-262-7679). Thank you!
Please join the Nevada Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers on Public Lands Day to help the BLM build and restore their campgrounds at the Boulder Reservoir and Divine Springs locations.
Public Lands Day Work at Boulder:
1. Prepare, prime, and paint 6 picnic tables. This includes replacing 3 damaged/bowed boards.
2. Install 2 steel fire rings. Place new fire rings in concrete to avoid theft.
3. Clean out Fire ring ash.
4. Install and paint wood trim boards on kiosk.
5. Repair falling rail fence (~ 60 LF)
6. Litter Picking around campground and day use area.
7. Consider removing the rock jack at the campground entrance
