event_description: BHA will be coordinating a volunteer effort with the Department of Fish & Wildlife to plant bitterbrush plugs at the Hallelujah Junction Wildlife Area from Wednesday October 26th to Saturday October 29th. We will also be collecting sagebrush seeds to be grown out at a local prison through the Sagebrush in Prisons Project. Please RSVP if you can join and we will send more information about the project and work locations within the Wildlife Area. Work will start at 9:30am on Wed, 8:00am on Thursday/Friday and 10:30am on Saturday. Feel free to come for just one day or multiple.This Wildlife Area straddles X7A, X7B & X6B and is frequented by mule deer, pronghorn antelope, quail and numerous other wildlife species. It is critical Winter range for both the Doyle and Loyalton migratory mule deer herds and our efforts will have a direct benefit to resident and migratory herds that use the Wildlife Area.Schedule:Wednesday October 26th9:30 amArrive at the Hallelujah Junction Wildlife Area office. Bitterbrush Planting & Seed Collection with CDFW
