Calling all archers! Backcountry Hunter & Anglers is hosting a 3D archery tournament on August 3rd in Summit County, Colorado.
The Challenge: • 30-target course: Immerse yourself in a realistic archery experience with 3D animal targets. The course winds through meadows near Green Mountain Reservoir, then climbs into the nearby hills for an elevation challenge – perfect for getting you ready for hunting season! (Approx. 2.5 miles) • Limited spots, big fun: We're capping participants at 60 to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, with plenty of space to navigate the course. • Test your skills and win big: The shoot is a scored tournament with a shotgun start. Compete for top honors as an individual or team. Different target tees cater to all skill levels.
More Than Just a Competition: • Post-shoot lunch: Refuel and connect with fellow archers over lunch after the morning session. • Novelty shoot: Put your archery talents to the test in some fun, head-to-head challenges after the tournament. • Practice makes perfect: Want another shot at those targets? The 3D course remains open after the formal competition, so feel free to go for another round or conquer those tricky targets that got you the first time.
