EatWild and BC Backcountry Hunters & Anglers are hosting an evening of wild to table fare to support and raise awareness for wildlife conservation in British Columbia. Chef Mark Perrier of Savio Volpe will lead a team of Vancouver chefs to curate a 7-course wild game feast hunted, harvested and gathered from BC’s abundant forests, mountains and meadows.
The evening will showcase ethically harvested and expertly prepared wild game, while wildlife advocates Dylan Eyers (EatWild), Jesse Zeman (BCWF) and Mark Robichaud (BCBHA) share stories about the importance of protecting our wildlife and wild places.
Arrive at the dinner table with a love for food and great conversation, and leave inspired to explore and protect the rich resources that nourish us. Experience conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts, chefs, hunters and change-makers coming together to support, protect and celebrate BC’s habitat and the wild plants and animals that depend on it.
Joining Chef Perrier to collaborate in the kitchen is Jody Peck of Wild Northern Way, Chef Derek Gray of Row 14, and Chef Jonas Hamre of Mamie Taylors.
This is a non-profit event. All funds raised will go to support wildlife conservation efforts in BC.
