Friend —
I love our BHA family. Good timing, welcoming, knowledgeable folks from all walks of life who have a shared passion for our wild public lands, waters and wildlife.
This past week we held our first ever virtual Winter Extravaganza, and you all joined from across North America. Thank you. The questions and acumen on display during Tuesday night’s policy discussion, featuring BHA’s own John Gale and Julia Peebles, were fantastic. Thank you. The seminars were informative and interactive. Thank you. The storytellers…oh, man. Such an amazing array of diverse, entertaining, and enlightening tales. Thank you. The competitions were fun to participate in and watch…though I’m still reeling from the loss in the Duck, Pluck and Eat competition at the hands of Mr. Stubblefield. BHA’s Jason Meekhof and BHA Michigan Chair Jeff Lipple cohosting from an ice shanty…in a word, awesome!
If you were unable to participate this week, don’t worry – you can access the content here. Our online auction is still in full swing until Feb. 4. While I can’t wait till we can see each other in person again, this week definitely filled the bucket!
Onward and upward,
Land Tawney President and CEO Backcountry Hunters & Anglers
