Join the Michigan chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers for a cleanup in the Atlanta State Forest. The goal is to clean up illegal dumpsites within or around Atlanta State Forest. We will be meeting in Lewiston, MI and groups will be dispersed to different dump sites.
All participants are required to follow social distancing measures. Trash bags, gloves, hand sanitizer, and water will be provided. Participants are asked to pack a lunch or snacks for the day. Maps will be available with illegal dumpsites locations and descriptions, some dump locations are marked with GPS coordinates. If you have access to a GPS it may come in handy locating more remote sites. Please dress appropriately for the weather and work at hand.
Meeting location will be 5105 Co Rd 612, Lewiston Mi 49756. Parking lot in front Family Fare Supermarket
