First Prize
A two day duck hunt in Northwest Mississippi, hosted by Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) Chapter Coordinator Josh Kaywood and an Arkansas BHA Board Member. Get your waders dirty in the Ducks Unlimited, legendary stomping grounds of author and conservationist, Nash Buckingham. This NW Mississippi duck hunt is in the January, prime-time of the merging Mississippi Flyway and includes a classic wild game dinner and lodging on site. Space is extremely limited, so this is a one person hunt package. All the hunter will need is waders, gun, extra ammo, and 3 day MS license with state and federal duck stamps. BHA will provide the lodging, meals, some Federal ammunition, and location to hunt. If the duck hunt wraps up early each day, there is the possibility of a small game or hog hunt option. The hunt will be coordinated in one of the first 2 weekends of January 2021. In addition to the hunt, the winner will also receive a BHA shirt and their choice of a Natural Gear Natural Traveler Duffel Bag or Stealth Hunter Daypack. Second Prize
Broaden your hunting narrative in the natural world with this all –day hunting and learning experience with outfitter and chef, Jonathan Wilkins. The winner of this package will receive a 2 person, greater white-fronted “specklebelly” goose hunt courtesy of Black Duck Revival and Arkansas BHA. The day will begin early with the goose hunt, and then hunters will return to Black Duck Revival's lodge for breakfast. Jonathan Wilkins will then take the hunters through all aspects of turning your successful hunt into fantastic table fare. This hunt will happen on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Hunters will provide their own gear and licenses. In addition to the hunt, the winner will also receive a BHA shirt, some Federal ammunition, and their choice of a Natural Gear Natural Traveler Duffel Bag or Stealth Hunter Daypack. Third Prize
