Prepare for fall hunting & meet fellow members at the Central Arkansas BHA Pinnacle Mountain Hike & Ruck Series! Whether you're headed out west or deep into the Ozarks this season, being in your best shape heading into the mountains ensures better odds in the field and a more enjoyable backcountry experience. There is no better way to prepare that strapping on those hiking boots and maybe your pack and climbing the same terrain you'll face this fall.
Central AR BHA is hosting a series of hikes & rucks at Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Little Rock for BHA members & their friends and family to meet fellow hunters and anglers and motivate each other on the mountain. So bring some water, your boots, trekking poles and your weighted pack if you desire, to one or more of the following events. Member meet & greet begins at 5pm in the parking lot of the West Summit Trailhead with the hike or ruck (your choice) beginning at 6pm on the west summit trail to the summit of Pinnacle Mountain (750ft elevation gain).
Event Dates are June 3 & 16, July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12, & September 2nd.
Events are dog and child friendly but please be mindful of the heat before bringing children and or dogs. All fitness & skill levels are encouraged to attend and individuals can choose to hike as much or as little and they desire. Food and Beverages are not provided so please bring any items you desire to have while hiking.
