Join the Arkansas Chapter of BHA for an evening of fishing and paddling on the Little Maumelle River in Little Rock. We’ll meetup at 6pm on June 13th at the Little Maumelle Access parking lot within the West Summit Trail picnic area at Pinnacle Mountain State Park.
Learn about this public water source from an Arkansas State Park Interpreter and then gear up to cast a line for bass, bream, or catfish. You can bring your own kayak or canoe and fishing gear, but some vessels will be available thanks to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. We will also have some fishing gear and tackle available to use.
All participants will be able to do some bank fishing and some kayak fishing. After fishing, we will gather together for a fish cleaning demo and share our fishing stories. Join us and catch a good time outdoors! This opportunity is geared towards older youth and adults.
This event is free but registration is required. Our meeting location is in Pinnacle Mountain State Park at the West Summit Picnic Area. There are public restrooms nearby and a place to park your vehicle where we will gather. Dress for outdoor time!
Please RSVP below to allow us proper planning and watch for a confirmation email. Thanks and we will see ya there!
