The Woolly Bugger is the most recognizable and one of the most commonly used streamers. It imitates crayfish, minnows, sculpin, leeches, and many other natural foods trout love.

Wooly Bugger
Hook: 4X-long nymph or streamer hook, Size 2-12 (Hannah will be tying in size 10)
Bead: Gold, size 5/32 (**if not using a size 10 hook, make sure to match your bead size to your hook size**)
Thread: Brown Olive, 6/0 or 140 denier (or whatever color you would like to tie! Black, brown, orange, white all good options!)
Weight: Lead-free wire .02 wt
Body: Chenille, medium (olive, or whatever color you like)
Hackle: Match this as best to your chenille color
Tail: Marabou olive blood quill (match to body color)

Tools List: Vice, bobbin, scissors, whipfinish*, hackle plyers*, head cement or clear nail polish.
*optional tools, but not necessary
