Alaska BHA Fall 2024 Newsletter

Mary --

Tis the season for hunting, canning, and for some animals and humans, hibernating. But not for AK BHA!  Summer seems all but a blurr and we're still in freezer filling mode.

Alaska BHA had a fun September with members and supporters at our Public Lands Pale Ale release in Juneau at Forbidden Peak, talking waterfowl hunting and float hunting in Fairbanks with our friends at Friends of Alaska National Wildlife Refuges, and at a Public Forum on the Juneau Douglas Second Crossing with local partners in Juneau at Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall.

We've been hearing from members, asking about opportunities to support and work with Alaska BHA and we're excited about working with our members to expand those opportunities.

That leads us to our 2024 Alaska BHA Member Survey

We want to know what's important to our members and we know we have some new members with us this year. We're looking forward to getting to know our membership base and connecting with all of you.

Stay tuned for some exciting October annoucements!

The Alaska Chapter Board has been building our bench strength all year, and we have a few more positions open to round out an expanded and stronger board for the largest state in the union. Are you interested in getting involved with Alaska BHA and working to make a real difference for our wild public lands, waters and wildlife? Check out our open positions and submit an application.

We look forward to hearing from new members who want to be active with our team!
