Presentation/meeting free and open to all at Ivory Jack’s Restaurant near Fairbanks
For many Alaskan outdoorsfolk, the day that big game drawing tags results come out is an incredibly important event that dictates planning, training, scouting, and hunting activities for the entire year. Draw tag winners revel in their success and start gathering information about their hunts, while unsuccessful participants scramble to plan alternative general season trips and book bush flights This year, come join fellow hopeful hunters on Drawing Day (February 17) at Ivory Jacks at 7:00 PM to celebrate tags won and lost at an informal pint night hosted by BHA. If you have the restraint to not look at your results until the get-together, our “master-of-ceremonies” will present you with an envelope to open containing your results. If you can’t help but look at what you’ve drawn before the gathering, please come anyway and take advantage of the opportunity to talk to other hunters who may have drawn the same tag as you previously, or who have not drawn something and want to plan a hunt with someone in the same situation. Come celebrate (or commiserate) with us! If you RSVP through the BHA website, we will automatically prepare an envelope with draw tag results for you. Otherwise, if you want us to present you with an envelope (or prefer not), email the organizer before the day of the get-together. BHA merchandise and membership materials will also be available at the gathering, for those interested. The first fifteen individuals who sign up for a new membership will receive one year of OnX Hunt. |
