The passage of S.47 including permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund and the Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act deserves some celebration! It's also a great time to learn more about how to become an effective advocate for hunting, fishing and our public lands so we can look forward to more wins to celebrate in the future, both at the national level and right here in Montana.
The Montana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is hosting a communications workshop at our next Region 1 meeting, featuring longtime conservationist and former BHA North American Board Chair, Ben Long. You've likely heard Ben's name as he's a regular contributor to Outdoor Life and MeatEater, was recently featured on BHA's Podcast & Blast and he won the 2018 Mike Beagle Chairman's Award at the BHA Rendezvous.
Simply put, Ben is a wealth of knowledge and we're lucky to have him leading this discussion. We hope you can join us.
