A Few Steps Further - 5K Fun Run and Film Screening

Join Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Run Wild Missoula for a 5K fun run followed by a short film screening of A Few Steps Further. There will be raffles, snacks and refreshments donated by Highlander Beer. The run is a social, untimed group fun run.

The film: Bridging the gap between endurance sports and backcountry hunting, A Few Steps Further follows Montanan Kevin Davis as he experiences the struggles and the rewards of public lands recreation.

The filmmaker: Erik Petersen is a Montana-based photographer, filmmaker and BHA member. He lives in the Shields Valley with his wife and two sons, a dozen chickens and a bird dog.

Run Wild Missoula promotes and supports running and walking for people of all ages and abilities. With over 1,500 members, RWM offers races, group runs, track workouts, seminars and more.

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers seeks to ensure North America's outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands and waters. Headquartered in Missoula, Montana, BHA was started around a campfire in 2004 and is currently the fastest growing conservation organization in the nation.
