Join New England BHA for the Maine Premier of HuntingMe’s newest film, The Gift, at Nomad in Brunswick!
Hot off the heels of their Dream moose hunt in 2021, the Hunting ME crew enters into the 2022 moose hunt with high hopes. After being gifted a tag from his wife last year, John draws a moose tag for 2022 and gifts it to his son William. They find themselves in The North Maine Woods 200 miles away from home camped out on the St. John River. Expectations are high after John’s 50” Bull Moose at 10 yards last year. With the fire in his eyes Will hopes to get intimate with a big mature bull again this year. Through 6 grueling days of heavy rain, thick forests, deep swamps, and long unrelenting hikes with little to no encounters the boys find themselves walking away with an unexpected gift from the woods.
The evening will kick off with a happy hour at 6 PM in Nomad's Cafe. From there, we will transition to the theater room where the film will be shown. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with the HuntingME filmmakers and Lee Kantar, Maine's Lead Moose Biologist, and a drawing with prizes from some of BHA's partners.
