Hello Volunteers\,

Thank you for signing up for the Ti ndall Fence Removal this Saturday (9/26). This is on BLM land south of Mou ntain Home\, Idaho in Owyhee County. Please see my driving directions b elow and save this email for getting out to the site. It takes about 3 hours from Boise to the camp location. The roads to the site are bumpy an d gravel\; I would suggest having some clearance and decent tires. There i s little to no cell service leading out to the site. \;\n\n

If you are meeting the group on Saturday\, plan on being at the camp for a morning meeting at 8:30 am. The group will leave the camp for the fence at 9 am. \;

Filming:

Ryan Callagh an will be out this weekend with a film crew documenting the fence removal . There will be a release form to sign at the start of the event. If you&# 39\;re not comfortable being filmed\, please let me know. You can still volunteer without being in front of the camera\, and I don&rsquo\;t expec t the crew to film the whole time.

Driving Direction s:

Google Maps may not show the correct route\, as i t avoids crossing the creek area once on the ranch property (see explanati on below). Here&rsquo\;s how to get there:

\n Take Hi ghway 51 South and turn left onto Mary Creek Road.
\n \n
\n
Continue straight and veer slight right\; this road will become Smit h Road on Google Maps.
\n
\n
As you drive down the road\, you'\;ll enter private ranch property. Stay on the main road\, w hich will curve to the right around the main buildings.
\ n
\n
Stay on the main road. It will lead to a left turn up a hill\, around an old outbuilding\, and then to a gate. The road is easy to follow .
\n
Go through the gate and leave it as you found it.
About 1.8 miles from the gate\, you'\;ll see a left tu rn into a gravel pit area\, which is the main camp spot. I&rsquo\;ll have a BHA sign on the main road to help you find the turn.

On Friday night\, pe ople are on their own for food. Saturday night will be potluck style\, ple ase bring anything you would like to share!
