Join Texas BHA for our September Pint Night at Demeris BBQ in Houston. As we gear up for the hunting seasons this fall, we are excited to have Rob Neilson, President of the Ashby Bowhunting Foundation, join us this month. The Ashby Bowhunting Foundation was recently featured on the MeatEater Podcast. As a reminder, you do not have to be a member to attend, so please feel free to bring a friend.
Rob Neilson has been hunting since he was 7 years old and purchased his first bow at 13 years of age and starting bowhunting whitetails in his home state of Mississippi. Over forty years that region has expanded to 18 states, 4 Canadian Provinces, South Africa and New Zealand. Rob is a Life Member of Dallas Safari Club, Houston Safari Club and multiple other conservation organizations. Rob is an understudy of Dr. Ed Ashby and is also a Co-Founder and President of the Ashby Bowhunting Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization based on science and education to assist the global bowhunting community.
