Float Plan - Three Day Trip:
May 21, rendezvous at Suwanee River Canoe Rental at 9:00 AM. BE ON TIME. Paddlers will be shuttled to River Mile 128 and launch at the Suwanee River State Park. Paddle 15 miles to River Mile 113 to make camp at the Dowling Park River Camp.
May 22, paddle to River Mile 103 to make Camp at Lafayette Blue Springs State Park. or camp on a nearby shoreline. This stop will require paddlers to sleep under the stars or use a tent.
May 23, paddle five miles to River Mile 98 to exit at the Hal Adams Bridge and be shuttled back to Suwannee River Canoe Rental. Once all paddlers have returned to Suwannee River Canoe Rental, gear & paddle craft are stowed, and farewells are said then paddlers will return home.
Float Plan - Five Day Trip:
May 19, rendezvous at Suwanee River Canoe Rental on May 19 at 9:00 AM. BE ON TIME. Paddlers will be shuttled to River Mile 148 to launch at the Spirit of the Suwanee Park, paddle 7 miles to River Mile 141 then make camp at the Holton Creek River Camp.
On May 20th paddle 13 miles to River Mile 128 then spend the night in a cabin at Suwannee River State Park.
On May 21, meet the Three Day Contingent and complete the Three Day Trip listed above. If making the Five Day Trip, please email Jim Hasley at [email protected] in advance.

Recommended Gear:
Canoe or Kayak, life vest, dry bag, tent/tarp, sleeping system, water bottles, water purification system, first aid kit, sun screen, bug repellant, camp stove, mess kit, matches or lighter, flashlight, bathing suit, dry clothes for sleeping, rain gear, water shoes, dry box for phone, paracord, fishing gear, camp chair, small cooler, food for three or five days, other modest creature comforts. While modest in duration this is a backcountry trip, be prepared.
