Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) is a North American organization consisting of regional, volunteer-led chapters including the Montana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (MT BHA). The mission of BHA is to ensure North America's outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands and waters. BHA’s efforts focus on three main categories:
- Protecting public lands and waters;
- Improving public access and opportunity; and
- Defending fair chase principles
